Teaching: For a long time, effectively until three years ago, I have been the only econometrics lecturer at Bath. This meant I have had to teach the whole gamut of quantitative courses. At one time (for about 5 years), this included econometrics and advanced econometrics (both two semester courses), macroeconomic modeling, mathematical economics and a project based course dealing with input output analysis, FORTRAN programming and sample surveys, as well as supervise a number of final year dissertations. I currently teach:

Given lectures in Slovakia - Three occasions (each for a week) as part of the EU TEMPUS program.

Member of Panel of Economic Advisors to the South West Regional Development Agency

Served as Member of Editorial Board European Yearbook of Standardization.

Built in 1984 (with a small team working under me) a small macroeconomic model of the Cypriot economy for the Planning Bureau in Nicosia. The work resulted in a book. In 1984 Following on from this, I negotiated an agreement with the Planning Bureau of the Cypriot Government under which two of my colleagues visit Cyprus.
