Tour of Bath

The beautiful city of Bath is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bath is home to and known for its famous Roman Baths, built circa AD 60, at which point, the Romans gave the city the Latin name Aquae Sulis, "the waters of Sulis". Bath Abbey was subsequently founded in the 7th century and became a religious centre for the region. Bath's historical high point, however, came in the 18th century, when the city regained it's popularity as a spa town. Examples of the ("Georgian") architecture of that period, include the Royal Crescent, Circus, Pump Room and Assembly Rooms. We have organised tours, which will take in each of the major attractions in the city (or at least all of the legal ones).

Visit to the Roman Baths

The Roman Baths complex lies below the modern street level and is a site of great historical interest in the city of Bath. The Baths are a major tourist attraction and, together with the Grand Pump Room, receive more than one million visitors a year. We have booked group tours to visit the Baths, a highly recommended activity for anyone who has not previously visited the city.
